Welcome to Family Ties

Family Ties Association is an incorporated non-profit organization providing family-focused and strength-based services in Southern Alberta since 1990.

“What can you do to promote world peace? Go home and love your family.” – Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Families are as diverse as snowflakes; each one unique and beautiful in its own way. The family unit is the most influential social group in a person’s life; as family ties are the earliest and most meaningful bonds we form. Families shape our values and ideals, but no family is perfect. From time to time, many families require outside help to repair and strengthen their family ties.

Family Ties Association helps families, youth and children to become more independent and successful in their lives. Family Ties provides trained and dedicated staff who work in partnership with other professionals to promote the well-being of individuals and families. We are a non-profit, nationally accredited agency, providing services to children and families of Southern Alberta since 1990.
