Within the Lethbridge community Family Ties Association has been working with children and families with disabilities since 1990 and has expanded its programming to work within the Family Support for Children with Disabilities Act in 2004 to include: · Specialized Services Educators · Behavioral/ Developmental Educators · Community Aide Supports · Domestic Aide Supports · Hourly Respite Supports Family Ties Association offers a competitive pay schedule as well as flexibility in work hours to accommodate individual’s needs. Family Ties Association hires program staff both locally and in rural community settings throughout Southern Alberta. Aboriginal background is considered an asset to serve all children, youth and families of the area. Family Ties Association also offers the following: · Benefit packages available · Flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends · Diploma/Degree or Competency Based Hiring System dependent on service · Comprehensive and ongoing training
