Behavior Consultant

Currently we are seeking individuals who can fulfil the role of Behavioral Consultant within a collaborative initiative with Blood Tribe Social Development.

Within this role, the successful candidate will have the ability to set their own schedule in collaboration with the individuals that they serve. There is opportunity to branch out within the organization into other positions and programs as well. The successful candidate will be matched with families and youth based on skill set, comfort and interest to support children living with disabilities in their homes and in their communities. The successful candidate(s) will report to a Program Supervisor and/or a Registered Psychologist to collaborate on the needs of the child and promote a plan to increase skill building and self-efficacy. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team you will add your family focused, and strength-based skills towards fostering the healthy development of children and families

A competitive remuneration package is available which includes a hourly rate with flexible self-directed scheduling available. Successful candidate may be eligible for benefits dependent on workload.

Successful Candidate must have a degree in the Human Service Field and a minimum of two years working with children and or disabilities; or possess a master’s degree in a relative Human Service Field and be able to demonstrate experience working with children and disabilities.

Preferred Candidates will have knowledge and connection to Indigenous Culture and membership to the Blood Band Reserve will be considered an asset.

Candidates must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license (non-GDL) a reliable vehicle to use for work, with the ability to provide 2 million in Insurance liability.

Wage: $30.00/hr - $37.96/hr – Degree plus 2 years experience working with children and disabilities, $50.00/hr – $63.27/hr master’s degree plus 4 years experience working with children and disabilities
