Empowering Families.
Strengthening Communities.
Family Ties Association will create groups or use existing community group programs to best meet the needs of the youth in a given community. FPWs will provide opportunities for the youth (and families ) to explore their community, build upon individual strengths, examine relationships with families and peers, promote cultural connections, and encourage positive change.
Each session will be carefully planned out with the best interest of each participant. The needs and concerns of each participant will be considered while the FPWs are in the planning process. This program is also based on the 40 Developmental Assets Program. If there is a community need, please contact Family Ties Association to explore opportunities to develop groups to assist in addressing those needs.
