Job Posting: Essential Services Coordinator (ESC)
Reporting to the Program Supervisor of Essential Services, the ESC will focus on the provision of Essential Services which includes Transportation, Supported (Supervised) Visitation and Back-2-School Supports within their home and/or community. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, you will add your organizational & scheduling skills and strength-based intervention skills to children, youth and families enhance their success and well-being.
A remuneration package is available which includes a competitive salary and benefits package.
ü Minimally a Certificate or Diploma and 2 years’ experience in human services field working with children, youth and adults.
ü Knowledge and experience working with Indigenous and diverse populations.
ü Excellent written and oral communication skills.
ü Strong problem–solving skills.
ü Knowledge of child development.
ü Knowledge of community resources and supports for children and families.
ü Clear Criminal Record check, Clear CYIM, (First Aid/CPR, Suicide Intervention and CPI an asset)
ü Previous organizational and strong communication skills and experience.
ü Experience & knowledge of outcomes & evaluation an asset.
ü Experience in working with a diverse population.
