Job Posting: Family Preservation Worker
Family Ties Association is recognized for its expertise in the provision of In-Home Family Support and Intervention. Contracting with Calgary & Area Child and Family Services, Family Ties has been delivering these services to Southern Alberta for the past 29 years. We invite applications for a Family Preservation Worker/Supported Visitation Worker in the Okotoks, High River, Nanton, Claresholm, and Vulcan areas of Southern Alberta.
Reporting to the Program Supervisor, you will focus on the provision of Family Support in the Family Preservation and Supported Visitation Program. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, you will utilize your assessment and strength-based intervention skills to assist families and youth.
A remuneration package is available which includes a competitive hourly rate and mileage costs. Candidates must have a certificate/degree/diploma and experience in the Human Service field. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, have a reliable vehicle and complete a criminal record check and child intervention record check. Knowledge and experience working with families and other professionals is a definite asset.
