Job Posting: Program Supervisor - Family Preservation / Youth Engagement

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Supervisor will provide strength-based services to children, youth & families within their home and/or community in both rural and urban settings of Southern Alberta. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, you will add your strength-based intervention skills and relational skills to assist, support and guide staff, youth & families to enhance and increase their success and well-being. Experience in supporting and providing services to Indigenous and diverse populations a must.

Qualifications:

ü  Diploma or Degree and 4 years’ experience in human services field working with children, youth and adults.

ü  Excellent written and oral communication skills.

ü  Strong problem–solving skills.

ü  Knowledge of child development.

ü  Knowledge of community resources and supports for children and families.

ü  Clear Criminal Record, Clear CIC, (First Aid/CPR, Suicide Intervention, Trauma Informed Care and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention an asset)

 
Experience:

ü  Previous supervisory experience.

ü  Experience & knowledge of outcomes & evaluation an asset.

ü  Experience in working with a wide spectrum of families.
