Wonder Nook By Family Ties Association Spring Break Camps

Wonder Nook by Family Ties Association is excited to announce three camp programs that will be offered April 21st to 25th. These camps are for children and youth who have an active Agreement with Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD). Please see the poster and below for further information and details on registering.

WHO, WHERE, WHEN

3-5 Years Camp

• April 21st, 23rd & 25th
• 9:00am to 12:00pm
• 321 8th St. South, Lethbridge
• Space for 6 Participants

6-11 Years Camp

• April 22nd & 24th
• 10:00am-3:00pm
• 321 8th St. South, Lethbridge
• Space for 8 Participants

12+ Years Camp

• April 21st & 23rd
• 1:00pm - 4:00pm
• 321 8th St. South, Lethbridge
• Space for 6 Participants

• 1/2 day campers will need to bring a snack and water bottle.
• full day campers will need to bring lunch, snacks and a water bottle
• Campers should be prepared to be both indoors and outdoors for camp activities.

Cost & Registration

• Groups utilize hours from the registered child’s FSCD agreement. All hours can be directly billed to FSCD with Guardian approval utilizing Hourly Respite or Extraordinary Child Care funding.
• Please note, typical FSCD legislation applies for Hourly Respite funding, Both parents/caregivers cannot be working or attending school during camp hours.
• Please submit a copy of your child’s FSCD agreement to K.prebushewski@familyties.ca so that we can verify funding level matches for camp participation
• Please specify which service you are intending to utilize for group;
  • In-home/out-of-home respite
  • Extraordinary child care
• Parent portions (when applicable) must be sent prior to attending program when using Extraordinary Child Care funding.
